OKMULGEE, Oklahoma – Former MCN National Council Rep. Travis Scott has plead not guilty to charges filed against him in MCN District Court.

As previously reported, Former Rep. Scott has been charged with four misdemeanor counts of conflict of interest by a tribal officer, and one felony count of False Swearing.

At his initial appearance in District Court on March 17, Scott plead not guilty.

According to court records, a hearing is scheduled in the case for July 21, 2022.

The MCN Supreme Court has not issued it’s opinion on the appeal filed by the MCN National Council of the District Courts decision that Scott’s impeachment was unconstitutional.

Mvskoke Media will have ongoing coverage of this developing story.
