Christian T. Herbert, 30, of Scranton died Sunday July 6th from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Born in Oklahoma, he was the son of Christopher Herbert and Jenea Quick Herbert. He was a member of Muscogee (Creek) Nation. A graduate of Scranton High School, Class of 2013 and of Mansfield University. He proudly played football for the North Scranton Vikings and Scranton Knights and played Little League for North Scranton. Christian worked in the trades as a licensed plumber & just got his certification in HVAC and worked for Northeast Utilities in Dunmore.

Former Boy Scout, an avid firearms collector, often frequenting shooting ranges, and a motor bike enthusiast. Chris’ drive, ambition, and determination shined from an early age and throughout his life.

Also surviving are his love Jules (Juliana) Joyce alongside fur babies Rosco and Frankie; sisters Ro Quick, Rebecca Peters and husband John; brother Lucas Herbert; nieces and nephews Payton Harmer, Johnny Peters, Bray Peters; maternal grandmother Jan Roberts-Quick; paternal grandparents Ronald Russo Sr. and Carolyn Clark-Russo; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather William Quick and paternal grandfather Ronald Herbert.

Services were held at Solfanelli-Fiorillo Funeral Home Inc.
