TVLSE, Oklv. – Indian Health Care Resource Center invites students and community members to join us for our inaugural Scholarship & Resource Fair at the Tulsa Central Library on Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. This event offers a unique opportunity for students and community members to gain valuable information and resources to support their continued educational goals.
Pathways to Prosperity: American Indian Scholarship & Resource Fair will feature representatives from various tribes to share information on scholarships, grants, and other educational incentives offered to American Indians in the Tulsa area. Additionally, select colleges will be in attendance showcasing college offerings. FAFSA filing support will be available on-site. Confirmed participants include the Cherokee Nation, Chickasaw Nation, Comanche Nation, Kaw Nation, Potawatomi Nation, Muscogee (Creek) Nation, Sac and Fox Nation, Seminole Nation, Seneca – Cayuga Nation, and Wyandotte Nation. Additionally, colleges such as College of the Muscogee Nation, Langston University, Northeastern State University, The University of Oklahoma, Tulsa Community College, The University of Tulsa, and the University of Central Oklahoma will be present. Attendees will also have the chance to enter a raffle for gift cards, providing yet another incentive to take advantage of this valuable opportunity.
