OKMULGEE, Okla.- The 2025 Muscogee Nation Festival held a cornhole tournament on Sunday, June 22 at the Mvskoke Dome. This year the doubles tournament consisted of four divisions: elite/advanced, competitive, intermediate, and backyard. Prize money was guaranteed for placing teams, with prizes ranging from $1,200 for the elite/competitive first place winners to $60 for the backyard third place winners.

Hillary Martin (Mvskoke) had been playing cornhole between 5-6 years and competitively has been playing for about 4 years.
For this year’s MCN cornhole tournament, Martin and her teammate Kelly Fields (Mvskoke) played with the team name Spiral Squad in the competitive division. Martin started playing in her backyard, then later she began playing in the leagues in Henryetta, which led her to tournament play. Martin shared that she had met a lot of people playing and competing.
“We love it, we love the environment, the competition and everybody that comes out, it’s really fun,” Martin said.
