OKMULGEE, Oklahoma – A Muscogee (Creek) Nation National Council Business, Finance, and Justice/Health, Education and Welfare Joint Committee meeting was held on Sept. 20 at the Mound Building.
NCA 22-093 A Law of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation appropriating funds for the MCN Lighthorse Department to purchase motorcycles for a military funeral and detail unit. Representative Thomasene Yahola Osborn sponsored the legislation, which was postponed indefinitely 8-0.
The Muscogee (Creek) Nation Lighthorse Department and the Veterans Affairs Office are requesting funds to purchase three Electra Glide police motorcycles for $83,691.00 to provide for a military funeral and detail unit.
