Byline: Muscogee (Creek) Nation Children and Family Services Administration
TULSA, Okla. – After years of hard work and collaboration between Muscogee (Creek) Nation Children and Family Services Administration and the Tulsa County ICWA (Indian Child Welfare Act) Court, the MCN CFSA State Reunification and Permanency Program had the honor of presenting the MCN flag to Judge Kevin Gray’s court room at the Tulsa Juvenile Center. The MCN flag will stand as a daily reminder of the hard work and dedication of the MCN CFSA SRP team and the Tulsa Juvenile Bureau. The Tulsa ICWA court is the only ICWA court in the state of Oklahoma where it oversees hundreds of ICWA cases with ties to many Tribes within and out of the state of Oklahoma. The MCN is represented with CFSA SRP workers who attend juvenile court proceedings on a regular basis and are very engaged and vocal in the outcome of juvenile deprived cases that involve Muscogee (Creek) Nation Children.
