KOWETA, Oklv. – Mvskoke citizens and residents of the City of Coweta will soon see a new casino and hotel attraction in their community. Muscogee Nation Gaming Enterprises (MNGE) recently announced the construction of the $100 million Coweta Casino Hotel that is set to break ground in September.
The new 104,000 sq foot gaming and hospitality facility will feature a full-service restaurant and will create 250 new jobs in the area, including the greater Tulsa area. According to a release from MNGE, the department spared no expense on the facility stating, “Additionally, the development will benefit regional tourism with an upscale, 46-room hotel with a pool, fitness center, concierge services, and a meeting and event space to accommodate as many as 150 guests.”
There are also plans to include a raised full-service center casino bar, a 150 seat restaurant, as well as a private dining room. Guests will be welcomed by a 1,000 space paved parking lot and a porte-cochère entrance.
According to Muscogee (Creek) Nation Principal Chief David Hill, the facility will make a fine addition to the Nation’s existing gaming assets.
“Investing in the City of Coweta represents a remarkable new chapter in our growing entertainment and hospitality legacy,” Principal Chief David Hill said. “We are proud to reclaim land throughout our historic reservation and this project adds to our significant economic development investments within the greater Tulsa region. The Coweta Casino Hotel will expand cultural tourism, create jobs and enhance the quality of life of our citizens.”
MNGE Chief Executive Officer Pat Crofts echoed Chief Hill’s sentiments, stating the casino will bring top class entertainment and hospitality to Coweta and the greater Tulsa area.
“The significant capital investment of $100 million in this project underscores our dedication to providing best-in-class gaming and hospitality experiences. With each project, we are establishing a new era of luxury hospitality defined by innovation, sophistication and opulence,” Crofts said. “The new Coweta Casino Hotel will not only elevate our entertainment offerings but will also provide a positive economic impact by creating 250 new jobs in the local community.”
The Coweta Casino Hotel is set to open in Spring 2026.
