OKMULGEE – Muscogee (Creek) Nation National Council Representative Robyn Whitecloud was in the MCN District Court on Monday, June 1. As previously reported, Rep. Whitecloud was charged with four felony counts of preventing or attempting to prevent performance of official acts (MCNCA Title 14, § 2-803) on Jan 16.
On Monday, Rep. Whitecloud appeared in person in court, and her attorney, Ryan Connonie, appeared virtually via video call. Connonie told the court that he had received a plea bargain offer from the MCN Attorney General’s office earlier the same day, and would like time to discuss it with Whitecloud. Judge Nalani Ching agreed and set the next court date in the matter for July 6.
