Sonny Skaggs Veteran Spotlight

The Muscogee Nation Veterans Services Office is proud to honor Tribal veteran Sonny Skaggs for his dedicated service to the U.S. Army, the United States, and the Muscogee (Creek) Nation. Sonny honorably served for four years from 1967 to 1971 and is a recipient of the Purple Heart Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal (Vietnam Counteroffensive Phase III, IV, V Campaign, Tet Counteroffensive Campaign) Combat Infantryman Badge, and Army Expert Marksmanship Badge (M-14).
