Demonstrating extraordinary service to the Muscogee tribe and its citizens, the majority of the Vocational Rehabilitation team received nominations and awards, which showcased their dedication to the tribe.

In addition, Diana Baker, a VR Technician, was also nominated for the same award due to her role in supporting the program’s operations.
The most prestigious award, however, went to the program’s director, Emma De La Cruz, who received the Director of the Year award for her service to the community, her passion for helping others, and her ability to foster an environment where people feel valued.
“I am deeply honored to receive this award as Director of the Year. However, the true leaders of our program are my incredible staff. I absolutely enjoy my job of working alongside such dedicated and talented individuals. They make me look good.” De La Cruz said when asked for comments. De La Cruz is hopeful these achievements will help the MCNVRSP receive more awareness from the community so that they may continue to help others in need.
