HOLDENVILLE, Oklahoma – Moss High School Senior and Muscogee (Creek) citizen Braleigh King spent the morning of December 2, which was also her birthday, signing her Letter of Intent to play softball at Eastern Oklahoma State College in Wilburton.

King is a first baseman and talented batter. She is going to major in Early childhood Education.

The Oklahoma Fast Pitch Coaches Association for the All-State games which takes place in June 2022, announced King as a player on Nov. 2.

It has been a dream of King’s to play at the next level.

Over the course of her softball career, King has acquired several trophies, medals, awards and recognition. She is four-time medalist from the Top Gun Invitation.

For the last three years, King has played on Force 03 and previously played with Angels and Oklahoma Athletics.

Parents Lisa and Clint King said Braleigh has spent her childhood playing softball, starting with little league and even playing on several traveling competitive teams.

King’s father Clint remembers her first over-the-fence homerun when she was just eight years old.

King said it was a good day to sign her letter, which happened to be her birthday.

“I am just thankful for all the support and for everyone who has been there,” she said.
