OKMULKE, Okla. – It is that time of the year again when graduates will walk across the stage, receive their diploma or degree, and be recognized for their academic achievements. Mvskoke Media will highlight these achievements in the annual graduate edition of the Mvskoke Newspaper on June 1. Graduate profile submissions will be accepted for the June 1 edition until Monday, May 13 at 5:00 p.m. (CT). Profiles will not be accepted beyond this deadline. Graduates eligible to be featured must be a Muscogee (Creek) Nation citizen and must be graduating from either a high school, college, or technical school.
Graduate profile submissions must include a photo, as well as a 150 word, or less biography. A biography may contain information pertaining to school, family, clan, tribal town, hobbies, extra circulars, interests, achievements or future aspirations. Mvskoke Media looks forward to recognizing this year’s Mvskoke graduates and their achievements.
