OKMULGEE, Oklahoma– Per Robert Bible, the College of the Muscogee Nation will be closed to all students and public beginning March 25.
In his communication with the students dated March 17, Bible indicated that classes would be online from March 23 through April 3. However, due to the on-going COVID-19 (Coronavirus) concerns, and the guidance of the tribal administration, College of the Muscogee Nation (CMN) will extend Online Course for the remainder of the Spring trimester ending April 24.
Please note that CMN will be closed to all students and the public beginning at noon March 25. CMN will continue using online instruction in D2L only. Those students who need to submit hard copies of assignments may place the assingments inside the south entrance of CMN’s Administration Building only. There will be a table with containers located inside the entrance for students to drop-off assignments. Students may continue to contact their instructors by email, office phone, or cell phone. Their contact information should be available on your course syllabi, on the assignment packet, or CMN website.
Instructions for Housing Students
Hosuing students may pick their personal belongings beginning Monday, March 30 through Friday, April 3 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. by appointment only. Please contact Resident Manager Dianna Powell at 918-549-2863. CMN will notify housing students when they may check back into student housing.
Summer Enrollment
Summer trimester enrollment will be delayed until further notice.
CMN encourages students to be mindful of key preventive measures. The CDC offers tips on their website the can be useful in avoiding the spread of COVID-19 Coronavirus. Staying at home when you are sick is critical to prevention. We are monitoring this situation closely and will provide updates to the CMN community should further steps become necessary.
